- The college campus, infrastructure is beautiful no doubt, faculty is also good.
- My campus life is good as i have a good circle of talented people and very nice friends who are studious and also knows how to have fun, We have so much fun and we are good in studies.
Dislikes
- some faculties are strict and The attendance is way too strict, can't even breath and too many project and assignments are given.
- Bad friend circle are common so avoide as possible.
Remarks :
The good factors for which I chose this college (with the pov of my course)- Research oriented studies Well educated faculties with good and helpful personalities. esearch opportunities from 1st year unlike other institues where the oppurtunities come from 3rd year. the last year is all about doing research and making research papers. The amount of research papers you make already from 1st year that even if you don't study Masters, you'll be able to do PHD. You do not have to worry about anything, the faculties themselves will guide you to the last for good career. Bad aspects- Computer faculty is not good. Getting a good friend group is hard and rare (but i got them) Hostellers have to pay daily in the cantene, no mess system. Too many tests, presentations and hw, making hard for us to study and have time. Very strict attendance system, we can barely skip a class. No exam, just a video interview for admission process (dw about it).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I like doing research and overall this subject so I chose this program. Faculties are the best part of this program, they are very nice, very helpful and will guide you to have a good career with your cooperation. Highly qualified and educated faculties except the computer one. Except some, everyone can speak Hindi, but mostly everyone speaks bengali here. In 1st sem, Mid sems are very hectic, The classes are going on with the exams. and we only get one gap between mid sem and end sem but from 2nd sem these complications are reduced. Difficulty level depends on you, if you study the notes given by teacher and attend the lectures and do the pyqs, you are good to go. No book needed to study, Teacher's notes are sufficient.
Internships Opportunities :
I have joined a research program on Breast cancer review article organized by a senior of AUK, with the collaboration of a researcher from Europe, This project has been recognized and approved by both british and Indian government.
Placement Experience :
Right now, I don't have much knowledge about placements, but they are well n good and teachers will help in everything in the process, no worries. You just have to cooperate with them as much as possible. For now, I know the placement is nice.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise fees for 1st year- 1,60000 The tuition fees per semester is- 1st sem- 71000 2nd sem- 71000 then it keeps on increasing upto 86000 till 8th sem. Total course fees- 6 lacs security fees- 20000 (paid in only 1st sem) Hostel fees yearwise- 120000 security fees- 10000 (paid in 1st year only) No special program for SC/ST/OBC Other programs include total fees •structures varying from 6 lacs to 12 lacs ex- Btech 1st sem- 160000 Scholarships criteria (based on boards and CUET score)- for - 90% and above- 50% scholarship 80% and above- 25% scholarship 70% and above- 15% scholarship Cuet score also plays some minor role. Students are recommended to tell their counsellors to make sure to give them the scholarships as they sometimes dont. As no mess is included in the hostel, You'll also have to pay daily in the cantene.
Campus Life :
Fests information- Teacher's day celebration in sep Ganesh chaturthi in august-sep Freshers party in sep DJ night in sep Winter's carnival in dec random intercollege fests around oct and nov Amiphoria- The main fest of AUK for 3 days continuously in feb-march. Many books are available for your knowledge and studies, no need to buy anything, Teacher's notes are very sufficient also! Teachers are friendly, Some people are very friendly in the class but it is not so common here, It depends on you what type of people you attract. For sports, there is an event that goes on for 1 week- Sangathan, Almost all basic sports available. Extracurricular activities include many things, people are very talented here, and there's scope for performing in other colleges too but competition is too high, you barely get chance. There are total 30 clubs but Music, Dance, Art, literature and events clubs are the main ones. good friend circle needed to survive here.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
