My brother also pass out from this college,No any admission test ,only wb jee rank for entries,no any group discussion and test only the west bengal joint rank is required for entering in this college

Academic are good ,and the faculty also too good but now days placement was not so good Term exam is deficult because it is under makaut it was too tough in this time and many of my friends present backloc

No any internships came in this college and i didn't do any internships in this year if you want to internships you can do off campus but no any on campus internship came this was bad for students you can try

Now days placement was not so good and the faculty will try to to gave in this year placement is not too good as expected still many senior place but not as expected but other year placement was good

Svmcm scholarship available, yearly college fees 110000 in two semester in every year we get a scholarship which amount is 60000 it was very helpful for my academics in my life ,no any fees required only
Campus Life :
Here fest is too good in July it is best for students ,here also a good library present ,here many coding group present my fest experience is too good new things came from fest like technical fest technology
Hostel Facilities :
Best hostel all type of help is present all senior is too good and helpful here in third year personal room given which is also good for reading and also food is good and quality hostel provided no problem

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
