- The best thing about our college is faculty. The amount of guidance they give is amazing. They will help you to improve your skills according to the market trend. They will tell you learn things outside of the books
- Another one is the fest . Fest are the main attraction of college life. We literary wait every year for tech fest. This year I'm in the core organizing committee. I'm very excited to make this a huge success.
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike about the college is small campus. We cannot chill with friends because this small campus.
- We don't have any playground. We need to book nkda stadium which is near to our college for cricket and football tournament.
Remarks :
We don't have to give any separate examination to get into this college. We had our wbjee exam in 12th according to the rank the college is allocated. My rank was around 13k so i get this college. You can also get into this college in management quota paying 6lakh or something.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is under makaut so it follows the course curriculum given my makaut. Most of the faculty members have PhD. They are very helpful and supportive. They will guide you in every step. We have internal exam every month and best of it is added to our semester marks. We have semester in every 6month . The difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I got an 6 month data science internship in sabudh. It will start from 7th January. College shares various sources and links for internship opportunities but they won't give you direct opportunity. You have to apply on your own. I have previously done an internship on android development using flutter in a start up. College help me to get this interview. It was of 3month.
Placement Experience :
Placement is good . Most of the students get placed every year the percentage is 88%. The average package is around 6lpa and highest package is 15lpa . Cognizant and Infosys recruit mass students. This year Infosys recruit over 55 students from cse. I want to do mba after completion of my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In the first semester your have to pay admission fees and semester fees together it was around rs67000 in 2022. And after that in every semester you have to pay rs45000. Hence overall in 4 years you have to around 4lpa. During every semester examination you have to pay 1200 rs. Eligible students whose semester percentage is greater than 60% gets swami vivekananda scholarship that give 60000rs every year.
Campus Life :
The only disadvantage of our college is our campus is very small. But the library and labs are huge . You will get every facilities in library even you can use audio visual library. We have cricket and football tournament every year and for girls we have throwball tournament. We have different clubs like oretary club literary club technical club they arrange various events every month. We have cultural fest in every 3 year it happens around April. We have technical fest every year around March April. Student from various colleges participate in the events.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for hostel as I live near my college. But few of my friends stay in hostel. The room is good 3 people shares a room. The food quality is good but the taste is not very good. The hostel is just near the college. Student can also rent pg as there is a lot of pg near by and the rate is also low.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
