- I like the college fest specially cultural fest. It is the best thing of college life. Fashion show, dance competition , dJ everything is there.
- Another this is like sports . Cricket and Football tournament is one of the greatest attraction. Even we have faculty matches.
Dislikes
- I hate the campus mst. It is so small we could not hangout outside of the class properly.
- There is no playground we have to rent different playground far away from our college.
Remarks :
We have to give wbjee or jee mains exam. Students get allocated on basis of the rank. Frpm 14k to 18k ranked students get the cse and from 19k to 24k gets it. there are many other branches like ece, ee etc. The wbjee question paper is based on 3 subjects physics , chemistry and mats. You have to prepare these 3 very well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college is under makaut. So the college follows makaut curriculum. We have 4 internal exam ca1 ,c12,c13 and ca4 . In first two ca's we have to give presentations and submit term paper on various topic ca3 is a written exam and ca4 is online mcq exam. Best of 4 is added to our final semester marks. We have semester exam in every 6 month. the difficulty level is moderate to difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
I still haven't got any internship. The college dont give any opportunities for Internship. student have to find on their own. But sometimes college sends internship and training opportunity in the college mail. Recently they gave us sabudh internship link. The aiml and data science domain are there. As I'm interested in Cybersecurity I havnt applied but few of my friends did and two or three of them got selected.
Placement Experience :
Placement is good. This year until now 70 students is placed and average package is 5lpa. The placement rate is 88%. The highest package is 15lpa . Cognizant Infosys recruit maximum student . The package is around 4lpa. My plan is give Gate and get admission in tier 1 college for M.Tech as I want to pursue higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the yearly fees is 90k. We have to pay semester wise which is around 45k . In every sem it differ by 1000 . Like in 3rd and 4th sem my fees was 42k and 44k and my 5th sem fees is 45k. In the first semester we have pay admission fee + sem fee so its a bit more in my year it was 67k. Now i has increased to 80k as per I know. We get svmcm scholarship which is 60k per year. College is actively involved in the whole scholarship process so every student whose marks is above 60% can easily get this scholarship.
Campus Life :
We have cultural fest in every 3 year. The name of the fest is ELIXIR. It is conducted in Newtown ground mela. Nakaz Azziz came last year. We have technical fest every year students from various colleges participate in various technical event. Our library is very huge all types of books are there. You can also use audio visual library.We have cricket and football tournament evry year held in NKDA ground near our college. We have various technical and non technical clubs . Technical clubs like ieee student branch and google developer club and cultural club includes oratory forum, literary forum.
Hostel Facilities :
I dont stay in hostel because I live nearby my college. But according to my few friends who stay in hostel the room is overall good student have to share with 3 people. There are few rules and regulation in the hostel . The food is average they give evening snacks like muri chop maggie and in dinner ruti and veggies . In special occasion biriyani is also given. There is also low rate pg nearby.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
