Remarks :
There are several other aviation colleges in Kolkata but the reason for which I choose this college is because of the training facilities which this college provides. I didn't have give any interview or group discussion. only,I had to give a small general knowledge test on passing which I got admitted and I also got the scholarship of Rs 50000.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum set in such a way the students get enough time for preparing for their exam and also get ready themselves for the training. Every six months, one semester exams is held and every two months one summative exam is held.the faculty of this college is excellent.the students just have to study what they are being taught in the college.the exams are very easy.nothig comes out of the syllabus.if the students study well they'll easily pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities :
No ,i have not opted for any internships .ln the aviation sector ,there are no internship opportunities available.however ,in the hotel sector,numerous internship opportunities available . Some reputed hotel companies like ITC , TAJ, JW Marriot etc have already visited our college. They provided a good avarage stipend of around Rs.6000 to 8000 to the students.
Placement Experience :
After the end of fifth semester,the students become eligible for internship and placements. numerous reputed airline companies have already visited our college like indigo, airindia, airindia express etc.the highest package offer to one of the students was Rs. 400000 per year for the job of cabin crew and the avarage package is around Rs.240000 per year for the post of security officer,ramp officer etc.around 75 % of the students who have passed out or are studying got placed.after completing my graduation,i want join the aviation industry as a cabin crew.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In the first year,the course fees is around Rs.160000. In the second year, the course fees is Rs.110000. In the third year,the course fees is Rs.110000. However,the students can avail scholarship Rs.50000 by giving a small Gk test.this scholarship is not for everyone only the students who get admitted early can take the benefit of this scholarship.
Campus Life :
There is always some fest going on in our college every month.recently ,we had cake mixing ceremony in the month of December. Other fest and events like grooming week, fashion week, house-keeping week etc are organised.many festivals are also celebrated in our college like republic day, independence day,puja celebrations etc. numerous journals and textbooks are available in the college libarary.the students can easily avail any of the books by issuing a library card from the college. Every year,in the month of January ,annual sports is held.the college has its own fine dinning restaurant sizzle by ISHM which Is run by the college faculties and some students who gets internship opportunities.
Hostel Facilities :
The college does not provides any hostel facilities to the students.however, a large number of PGs are available near the college in Karunamoyee, chingri ghata, kestopur etc.the room rents are not very high .the avarage room rent varies around Rs.6000 to 9000.the PGs are very close to the college so the students can travel without any hassle.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
