Remarks :
ISHM is a good college. The faculty members and the teachers are highly qualified, well experienced and knowledgeable. I opt for BBA in Aviation Management as a major and the reason why I chose this college is because of the training facilities the college provides like ground training, on air flying experience, fire fighting, how to handle real life emergencies etc. The entry requirements are very easy, the eligibility criteria for a student is to have 50% and above in their higher secondary board exams. College will provide you with councillor who will help you with the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty of the college are well experienced and knowledgeable. They create a positive classroom atmosphere, their teaching style is interactive and engaging. The bonding between the faculty members and the students is very strong and friendly. It's a 3 years course with 6 semesters each semester takes place in every 6 months and summative exams in every 2 months. Exams are easy because each and every thing is been taught in the classes.
Internships Opportunities :
I have been in a traning program through our college in mabacademy in Malaysia for 3 days. The glimpse into Aviation, this programme was designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of essential skills and knowledge required for a successful career in cabin crew service. The programme covers a range of topics, including inflight service experience, effective communication, hospitality, grooming and aviation exposure.
Placement Experience :
Once the student completed their 5th semester, the student become eligible for internships and placements. There are various reputed companies like Indigo, Air India etc visit our campus. Companies provide good average package of around Rs 3 lakhs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee for BBA in Aviation Management is 4,30,000. In the first year of the college the course fee is around Rs. 1,70,000. The course fee for second year is Rs. 1,30,000. The course fee for third year is Rs. 1,30,000. Students who take early admission can get a scholarship benefit of Rs. 50,000. To get this scholership students have to give a small General knowledge test which is not so hard and on passing the test they become eligible for getting the scholarship reducing the total course fee to Rs. 3,80,000.
Campus Life :
Campus life in ISHM is very good in my opinion. There are several extracurricular activities organised by the college like sports day, housekeeping week, fashion week, grooming week, cake mixing ceremony, etc. Festivals like Republic day, Independence day, Puja Celebrations etc are celebrated in the campus. The college has it own library for students with different varieties of books, textbooks, storybooks, journal etc. College also has various labs like Front office lab, Aviation lab, F&B lab etc. Each classroom has been provided with screen projectors for digital and practical learning.
Hostel Facilities :
College does not provide with hostel facilities, but anyhow we have got lots of PGs available nearby the college and the rent is also reasonable, it can vary from Rs. 6000 to 10000. Students can share PGs.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
