Here's a review of Amity University kolkata after an experience of 6 months

- Infrastructure is quite nice with all facilities provided and free wifi for all which you need to register
- Faculties are also very approachable and helpful
Dislikes
- Attendance is way too strict and they won't allow to sit for the end semester if attendance is less than 75%
- Semester is fees is much more compared to other colleges and they take a quite good amout of fine if there's a delay in Semester fee payment
Remarks :
Few of my friends were already studying in Amity Kolkata and it had better opportunities for my course than the available colleges. And I also got to know about the infrastructure and faculties which were impressive and better
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I wanted to do something with biology and I also like research works. Faculty is very strict with attendance and performance as well. Regular labs and internal exams are also there. Few faculties I feel not jp to the mark as many students can't understand ( but this is the problem with 1 or 2 faculties). And you always end up having exams , assignments, ppts, viva ,practical etc
Internships Opportunities :
Since I'm in 1st year so I don't know yet so I didn't opt for any internship but from 2nd year we will have a bit experience and we can choose what's best for us but college placements are also a bit decent.
Placement Experience :
I have heard of good placements but if you are waiting for the college campusing then it may take a lot of time but there are many opportunities available for you if you score decent marks. But it would be better if you don't rely upon college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are 8 semesters and a 4 year course and the semester fees are taken before every semester starts and there's a slight increment of fees every semester. They also take a security deposit of 20000 during admission as a security deposit which is refundable after you complete your course
Campus Life :
Infrastructure is too good and there enough spaces where you can chill with friends. There are 3 canteens with quite affordable food which are also yum. There's a CCD inside and a big library from where you can issue books. We had our freshers but the dj night, cake mixing, mahalaya celebration and all got Cancelled due to some problem this year.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for any hostel but the hostel canteen is for all the students and faculties so I have tasted and it's nice and affordable. Amity Kolkata is in rajarhat and I stay in a Pg in Newtown near Coal Bhawan Krishnapur Main Road.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
