Remarks :
I applied tor this college through WBJee , in my batch the cutoff was 30k . Also jee mains rank is also applicable for admission in this college . I am not sure about the jee mains cutoff as most of the students applied to this college through wbjee rank .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Very nice curriculum and supportive faculties . The course subjects are decided very precisely and in an order and faculties support in everything. Also many faculties are helping students to write and publish papers too .
Internships Opportunities :
Yes . At the start of our 3rd year internship opportunities were shared with us . And apart from this there was also one mass hiring for internship also alike placements . At placement session too ample amount or internship opportunities were shared
Placement Experience :
Nice placement, highest package of our batch is 22 lpa . I myself got placed in 2 big MNCs and it is just one sem over and still 60-70 % of our batchmates are already placed, many of them holding two job opportunities as me .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Asansol Engineering College offers a fee structure , with my total 4 years tuition amounting to 4.21 lakhs . Additionally the college provides scholarship opportunities to deserving students , including those from lower family income backgrounds.
Campus Life :
The most beautiful thing about this college is the infrastructure. The campus is really big and full of plants . Also the classrooms are made e classrooms and all types of machinery are there for core branches and proper well maintained computer labs for us cse - it students
Hostel Facilities :
Not opted for hostel. But I know and have heard a lot of hostels . Hostels are okay as compared to any college hostels . It’s just the strict routine but yes it is beneficial for girl’s hostel assuring safety

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
