- College infrastructure are too good and well maintained they always clean the floor and campus.
- All the faculty are too good they are helpful and they treat us well so we get so many facilities there.
Dislikes
- They can't give us study leave and suddenly we get information about exam.
- Sometimes the washroom is not good then we complaint and they take action.
Remarks :
For doing Msc I visit so many colleges in Kolkata but when I go in Amity I see there are well infrastructure and I visit lab the labs are too good. And I also know from my senior that in Amity the faculty are too good they are supportive and helpful that's why I choose Amity.
Course Curriculum Overview :
After doing bsc then I do msc because I love the subject and course. In Amity University we have a department of Biotechnology that called AIBNK and faculty are well educated and study in abroad they teach us so well. Amity is very strict about attendance so we have to maintain 75% attendance. And we give two exam one is midsem and another is endsem and we also give ppt assignment so on.
Internships Opportunities :
No now but we get summer internship from our college in the month of June , then we do intership under our preferable professor and choose a topic for doing internship. There are so many topic like molecular biology, genetics, cancer biology, RDT , microbiology so on and in that subject we do internship.
Placement Experience :
In Amity there were campus interview happened where some company came take interview etc. They provide avarage 5L per annum but the package depends on company. My plan is getting a job and or going to industry.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In our Department Msc biotechnology 1st semester fees is 64500+20000(caution money)= 84500 2nd semester fees: 64500 3rd semester fees: 67500 4th semester fees: 67500 So these are our fees structure. Here we addmission basis of interview.
Campus Life :
In Amity the fest called Amiphoria that happened in end of February. Our library is so big and there we see so many books and Library have high security so anyone can't enter there only those have library card they can enter. In our college badminton, tug of war, swimming so many sports happened. In our college also have some club like art, sketch, social welfare,music, dance, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I am not hosteler so I have not so much knowledge about hostel but some of my friends are there so they say hostels are good, neat and clean. They provide clean room and ac also. And the warden are strict.

Placement Experience :
Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
