- The lack of campus is a disappointment for all the students joining the college.
- Elixir, the college fest which is held in every four years is something which is not liked by all students .
Remarks :
The primary reason because of which I choose this college was the placement rate. The admission in the college is done on the basis of the WBJEE score. The cut-off varies each year depending on the total number of students applying for the WBJEE exam. I prepared for the WBJEE exam with the help of previous years question papers.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because of my interest in coding and development. The faculty of the college are qualified teachers from reputed universities. Outcome based teaching pattern is followed in our university with interactive lab sessions. The term exams are held after six months, and the difficulty level ranges from easy to moderate in most of the scenarios.
Internships Opportunities :
I had not opted for any internship and our college does not provide many paid internship opportunities. The internship opportunities include python developer, or flutter developer if any. The college focuses on placements .
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placements depends on and varies from the company which visit the campus. The common recruiters of the college include Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys. The average package offered is around 3.5LPA. The percentage rate of students getting placed has decreased significantly.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year-wise of the degree is 1,00,000. While admission an amount of 64,000 was charged which included all the caution fees, lab fees and all other fees. At the time of every semester exam we need to pay an exam form fees of Rs 1200. All the students of West Bengal avail a SVMC scholarship from which they get an amount of Rs 60,000 per year.
Campus Life :
The college has no campus to be specific there are three buildings so if one is looking for a happening campus life then they will be disappointed. College fests are held every 4 years. Books regarding courses or other subjects of interest are available in the library. Football, Volleyball and Cricket tournaments are held every year. Students can enroll in several group discussions, debate and dancing competitions.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel food was very awful. The menu is not suitable for vegetarians as there are no separate sections for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The registration process is done through college. Hostels work co-ordination with the college. The fees for three months have to be paid before along with Rs 5000 as caution deposit. The fees for the hostel ranges from Rs 6800 - Rs 7000 per month.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
