- Campus is very short , it is around 2,3 aecar.
- Girls is to boys ratio, is very decent here .
Remarks :
To get the admission in my college, I have given the wbjee exam ,and secured a rank and then through wbjee counselling i entered into this college. You just need to pay very careful attention while doing counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this branch and course because data science is a very challenging field, and very deep understanding too. The professors are very helpful and some of them are pretty much qualified too . Total 7 exams are there which includes 4 CA's and a semester end exams and 2 practical exams .
Internships Opportunities :
There is no any intership is provided here , you have to crack it via off campus, but there is a good point that is the college is situated in IT hub and you may get various companies for intership depending upon your skill.
Placement Experience :
Placement are decent here, companies do visit here like TCS , WIPRO AND INFOSYS, IBM etc. the Highest package which was cracked last year was 60 Lakh off campus and on campus it's is 15 lakh The average package is around 6 lkh
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees structure of my college is 605000 for 4 years of btech in data science and yearly it is around 1.5lakh. No scholarship is provided to students who are from outside of west bengal. Only those students who have domicile of west bengal gets scholarship.
Campus Life :
There is fest called Anakronas happens in our college in the month of April. Our library contains lots of books , but it kind of very short room. Various sports events like exertion happens for sports, and various clubs are there for sports like technotkarsh.
Hostel Facilities :
Campus Life is very boring here as there is no any hostels are there in campus, but outside of college various pg and hostels are , in which students lives , the locality of my pg is very nice and peaceful, it's very safe to be in this locality.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
