- Freedom, Resources are present for an individual.
- Campus is also very beautiful, and ragging free but these changes are recent.
Dislikes
- Don't care about students health and food.
- Don't care about students future in terms of placement as placement cell is very lazy.
- Lot's of politics and monopoly is present in the college which effect students future.
Remarks :
We can get admission in the college be appearing in WB Jee and jee mains also. I got many suggestions for the college and the college was nac aggregated so is also eligible for education loan which was the main reason for me to choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in technology since my childhood that's why i chose this course, academics and faculties are average not so good but not soo bad. Infrastructures are old and need to reconstruct but authorities don't want to invest money.
Internships Opportunities :
No, till now our TPO is unable to bring out any good internship in the college but many students complete internship in off campus for sake of knowledge and experience for getting better jobs in the future.
Placement Experience :
Now a days placements are not so good and even getting worse as some of the authorities shows monopoly and TPO have not enough knowledge about companies and placement which make it more tough for students, these authorities need to be retired but they are just not leaving their post for sake of money. Recently they bought Infosys in the campus which was quite good but with a package of 3.2 LPA which is quite low according to me.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise total fee including hostel and tution- Rs 74000 Tution fee year wise- 96000 Caution fee- 6000 Registration fee- 1200 Admission fee- 5000 Extra 10000 to 20000 during admission which includes other charges. Student who have domicile in west bengal can applied for TFW(Tution fee waviour) and also 60000 per year as swami vivekanand scholarship.
Campus Life :
Campus is not so big but very beautiful , have playground, basketball ground and also a lake behind the college which makes it more beautiful and natural. Environment is good now a day and ragging is also not present in the campus, students roam anywhere with their fee will.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes i had taken hostel, and opting hostel is quite easy process but mess foor is not worth money and getting worst day by day as some of the mess authority shows their monopoly, and behaviour of mess staff is also not good, food quantity is also very limited and not enough for an individual.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
