- I like the infrastructure of the college.
- I like the faculties as they are very helpfull and supporting.
Dislikes
- There is partiality in the clubs and they prefer their friends.
- Some subjects are irrelevant as they don't matter for real industry experience.
Remarks :
I chose this course as it is a growing field and the future in this course it quite bright and also I like to do research work so it is very helpful for me . The best thing about this course is that it makes you industry ready . I wish there were not some irrelevant subjects such as history, stress management,etc. and about the events ,fest ,Campus Crowd, Connectivity, Campus Surroundings, Scholarship, Extracurricular Activities, etc all the things are amazing .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as it is a growing field and the future in this course it quite bright and also I like to do research work so it is very helpful for me . The best thing about this course is that it makes you industry ready . The faculties are well qualified and have done PhD. There are total of 2 exams per semester.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for any internships and the internships are not paid internships . The companies that provide internship are amazon, flipkart, wipro,etc.you have to be there laboratory assistant, data analysis,etc.
Placement Experience :
From 6th semester you can apply for internships. The companies that have visited are amazon, flipkart, wipro, etc. Highest package is 8-9 Ipa and average is 4-5 lpa. Percentage of students getting placements are 76%. After degree I will do M.Sc.76% of students were placed in my course last year and there's a chance that this number might increase with upcoming years as this is a growing field. The highest package was above 12-15 lpa, lowest is 4-5 lpa and average is 7-9 lpa . Top recruiting companies are such as Biocon, Cipla, Aculife pharmaceutical,etc. Approximately 89% students can get internship based on their performance in companies like cipla etc. Top role offered in my course if you go for PhD then you can be a researcher or work at a 9-5 job.

Campus Life :
The annual fest helds in February called AMIPHORIA. All the books that you would need to complete the course are available in the library. The faculties over here makes presentation which helps us to get better understanding of the topics.
Hostel Facilities :
No I have not applied for the hostel but the food over there is quite good and is very affordable and also there are lots of varieties. Hostel is bit expensive as it takes 130000 per year but you can take pG which takes ?10000 per month .

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
