- Its campus is just like school. So you don't get a chance to miss your school.
Remarks :
Good aspects of my college is that its placement rate is higher than any of the private colleges in the state of West Bengal and It is well reputed among all private colleges. I have chosen this college because I want college near my area and its reputation is one of the factor. I have given IEMJEE for admission in this college but direct admission is also available in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choose this course because Its my subject of interest. The faculties are very highly qualified. Some of them are not much into teaching ethics like the physics department which is the worst group of teacher I have ever seen. The curriculum is not so hard and there is 2 internal exams are held i.e. Midsem 1 and midsem 2 and one end sem of 100 marks. The difficulty is not so much hard.
Placement Experience :
Placement and Job opportunities are better than any private college in the area. This year it get 84% placement rate which is quite good than other private colleges. Campus placement is good the highest package offered in this college is 72lpa average is not bad i.e. 7-8 lpa. Placement is quite good
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For first semester the college takes 120000 and after that it will take 95000 for the rest of semester. Hostel fees is 105000. This all fees are for my time i.e 2024, I don't know exactly about the 2025 batch fees. The course is much affordable than other reputed colleges such as KIIT, VIT, etc.
Campus Life :
Iempact is the annual cultural fest in IEM and other technical fests are held in this college. Library is equipped with variety of books. The campus premises is too short. This college has no ground around it but it conducts sports activities. College has canteen and cafe coffee day express. Many Social clubs are there to join but the college life is not too good due to its strictness and such a small environment. Overall the college life will be average

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
