I chose this college as I was preparing for my CA exam and needed just a basic graduation degree with it. The admission process in this college is that students need to apply in this college through a website called wbcap and have a percentage of 60% in their 12th boards.
I chose this course as my CA exam syllabus matches with my course syllabus. The course curriculum taught here is outdated and teachers teach in the old methods too which doesn't give exposure to real life industry knowledge. The exams are held after 6 months in semester basis which are manageable to pass.
No, there is no intership opportunity provided from the college. Other than that i have not chosen to opt for off campus intership as I need to focus on my CA exam now. I will therefore apply for internship in my articleship period after clearing my inter exam.
There is no placement cell in our college so we don't get on campus placements from the college. Company visits are even not there in our college. Intership opportunities are not provided as well from the college. Mostly students opt for off campus placements.
The total course for the whole duration of graduation is 10,500. Admission and registration fees is 2000rs. Exam fees are charged separately by the university. My college mates pay the same fees. Yes, we do get a scholarship of amount 12,000rs per year named Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
The fests and events are not held much in our college except the freshers party and farewell. There is no wide variety of books in our library. Sports and extracurricular activities are not held much. There are college union groups run by seniors in our college.
Yes we have a college hostel in our college both for girls and boys separately just beside the college. I haven't opted for the college hostel and doesn't know about the registration process. The hostel is average and the rooms are decent as said by the hostel students. The fees charged is 12,000 per year.

Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
