Should you enroll in my college?

- Teachers are very good and helps alot. Union members helps too.
- Infrastructure is been improved from before. And now it looks not great but fair enough as you pay.
Dislikes
- Union members interfere in college matters. Sometime they even gets inside the rooms where sem exams are getting held.
- I guess, they charge a little much money than how much they are actually offering.
Remarks :
If anyone wants to be admission to this college then they can easily take admission just by filling up the form of college and after the counselling students get selected. Reservations also work here. But I wouldn't suggest this college rather go for some professional degree.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty is normal not too good not too bad. But in this college, there's a union of students following a particular political party and they call themselves TMCP. Although most of this union's members are passed out they r still interfering in college matters. And the fun fact is that the union is just some 10 meters away from the college and the union members can freely roam around the college without any I'd card though they r not bonafied students anymore. Although the teachers are good and helpful. If anyone wants to join this college my advice would be to stay away from that union and focus on study.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not gotten or anyone has not gotten any internship as far as I know. Because the college provides traditional or academic degrees. And based on this degree you can only pursue higher studies which is considered best. That's it.
Placement Experience :
No placement since it's a traditional degree, not a professional one. After completing it I aim to pursue an M.A. and go for higher studies and also I am preparing for government jobs. If anyone's willing to join the college for placement then that's a very wrong place for you. But if you google it you'll see that the college gives placements which according to my knowledge is incorrect.
Campus Life :
The campus is good. Union members help students in many ways, that's a point. And if you have any problem teachers and other staff are always there. Most of the time when it's a break students gather around from different courses and share their experiences. Which is wholesome.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't been to the hostel but I've heard the hostel is quite good. I have a friend who stayed there for some 6 months but after that, he got fed up and moved to pg. If you do not have any other option for living then you can go to the hostel. And behave well.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
