I chose this university becouse of it's morden infrastructure and good placement in out department. And very good faculty behaviour. Here faculty members are too friendly. But the food of the hostel are too bad and here in hostel have too much restrictions , I don't like that . I feel so boring
I like this course because I think in B.farm have a wide ranges of jobs . And I can open my own pharmacy shops . Here the academic curriculum is to tough exams are like class tests are conducted every week . And this is too tough . If you not studied well you can't pass the exam's.
No as a First year student I don't have any internships but as the information I got from seniors they say that The Internships are so good and out faculty members are also helpful to get a good internship.
In my department the placement and Internships are soo good compare to other department like B. Tech and many more . The internship are provided in our state or outside of the state like Our state west Bengal and out of the state Sikkim , Kerala , Dekhi , Madhyapradesh etc etc .
The admission fees for B.farm is 25000 The first 6 semester fees is 11400 per semester After that last 2 semester fees will be 68000 per semester So the ful 4 year fees is around 820000 I don't get any scholarship at the University
The life at campus as a hosteler is so boring . At the time of admission they say that we have common rooms but they don't open the common rooms . They have too much restrictions like if you are a hosteler you can't go outside everyday you are only allowed to go outside of the campus on Saturday and Sunday . And they have over restrictions like they don't allow to play uno.
Hostel rooms are nit and clean and the infrastructure is so good .. but the hostel is over restricted . But the type of facility they provide that is so good . I am live in a Four bed . The hostel Life is so much expensive here . If you don't want to invest too much unnecessary money then I will suggest you to get a room outside of the campus there are many good affordable PG outside. I will suggest you to stay outside and Take a PG.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
