THIK TWICE BEFORE CHOOSING COLLEGE
Remarks :
After passing my class 12th examination and competing in competitive examinations I was looking for a private college as I was not able to get a government college ,through advertisements I got to know about ADAMAS UNIVERSITY. Soon I filled my application for admission an a mam connected to me and asked to give a admission test and after I passed the admission test I was told to deposit the admission fees along with the course fees .Then after few days I was invited in the college for registration process.After that I was registered in the college .There was no cut-off as I took a direct admission in my college.Actually If I say for me I didn't took any preparation during my written test in my admission as I prepared it for already in my 12th board examinations.
Course Curriculum Overview :
After passing my class 12th examination as it was a trend Thad that you will not get any placement I you do not study with B.Tech cse course,So I also took b.tech cse course.When I started classes there were a lot of good faculties who were passed from from IIT and teach very well and on the other hand there were some faculties who can't even speak proper English and cannot teach well.For example in my 1st semester there was subject called c programming ,in that subject he didn't even teached a code of c programming and it created a burden for me in the next semester After all I had to learn freshly from youtube and in my opinion the fees and the kind of teaching facility is not worth it.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for any internship program and I don't see any opportunity.Afterall I think most of us does not do paid internship .Hopefully I think I can get paid internship as college is recently verified by nacc
Placement Experience :
I don't see any opportunities regarding my job profile .I don't hear any good companies visiting my college .All the placement that I have heard about is by the external placement .Highest package offered is around 1crore by law .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As it's a private college and the college was not so much reputated so my fees during my admission of the course for four years is around 700000.During my admission there was also also admission fees which was charged that was 30000 .For any kind of reservation is not applicable, for every category the fees are same and .Apart from the fees structure scholarships are also provided for the students of ewd which they can avail by the government schemes.Many of my friends have availed the government schemes like swamivivekananda scheme which is most popular among my students.Apart from these schemes many have availed to take a credit line(loan) from banks which supports them.For example like in vivekananda scholarship availed by my btech cse students they get 60000 per year which leads to 240000 for four years.In other department like law department charges a fees of 100000 approximately.
Campus Life :
Fests of this college is not as overwhelming as the other college .There is a big fest that happens in the month of February approximately and during that time a lot of stalls come into out college and having a minimalistic gathering of students as the fest happening in our college is average.Every year the bring here singers who are average ,hopefully they will bring someone better next year.Coming to our library there is one library for all department and there is a whole lot of availability of books in our college which really helps us during our exams preparation. actives like football ,volleyball and cricket happens in our college .Every year during January and February competitions of football and cricket takes place and volleyball takes place in December.Clubs like robotics ,cycoder and business helps to get a good practical approach to our life.
Hostel Facilities :
During my admission phase I opted for hostel .My fees of hostel is around 59000.During my admission food quality was good but right now the food quality is very bad and not worth it .Two days we have chicken as menu,two days fish and rest days eggs as menu.There is a lot of restriction in my hostel as they do not allow leave anytime we need ,like banks they tell us to go and approve from hod then from class coordinator and then they approve for leave.In my opinion the take a lot of fees in outside they can stay with much affordable rates.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
