The college is a good college for me because it's a government engineering college so the fees are very decent for completing the course and it also provides a good placement on campus, but this college has some drawbacks like low infrastructure, bad hostels, etc. If you want to take admitted to this college then you have to take an entrance exam called WBJEE and you get admission based on your rank you find all the details on the college's official website,
Course Curriculum Overview :
I belong to a middle-class family do I don't have money to take admission to such a fancy college, so I decided to take admissions at this college it's also provide good placement opportunities to all, after admitting to this college I saw all teachers are highly qualified and good teaching method for teaching us, the exam are happened once in a semester and paper was easy to give, also you get a famous scholarship called SVMCM of your have 60% marks in class 12
Placement Experience :
If you have a minimum 6-7cgpa then you are eligible for sitting placements, and also many companies make low cutoffs to sid in placement, Many companies visit this college longer TCS, Tata Power, cognizant, Adani Power, ultra-tech, us, etc. This year the highest price is a strong 15LPA and the average is around 6-7LPA, AND also 50% of students placed till now, my plan is simple after getting a degree which is getting a good job.
Campus Life :
In this college we have many fests but mainly two popular one is the tech fest which is held on last of the year, and a fest called 'JECLET' which is held on mid off year so are truly enjoying months, in this college, we have a central Library in college there are have all books to read, and if wanted to build good extracurricular activities then you are welcome to this college cause there are have lots of options of sports to play, there are have many social groups all runs by students, for the hostel food quality is IS good menu are different for different days,

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
