- The Campus and social life including the fests is a blast for every student.
- The highly qualified faculty members with such high end equipments like recording studios makes the learning very fun.
Dislikes
- One thing is dislike is the college's heavy emphasis on social work, as a Jesuit institute the college focuses heavily on social work and every student must do a minimum of 30 hours of social work to get his/her graduation certificate.
- the location of the college is quite remote, being located in a land lock area with little to less resources available around makes it sometimes difficult.
Remarks :
Firstly we had to give two mock tests which were completely online, after that we had to give one final online admission examination and after that the merit list was released and those who were selected were then asked to go the university and get their documents verified.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason i chose this course was because I always wanted to pursue my career in production marketing and as for the qualification of the faculty members is concerned, it is one of the best in my city, this particular course of my college is the most reputed course of my college and has the best and most educated faculty members with very straight forward and practical teaching methods. With two exams being conducted every semester, one mid term and one end sem we're totally experiencing this new NEP in our college in full form.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, currently I'm working as a intern in an NGO, named Rigel Foundation where I'm serving as a communicator, and my job is to contact various psychologists and ask them to come on board and give free therapy sessions to the underprivileged children of our society. The Program is named as 'Mind Over Matter'
Placement Experience :
the placement and internship rates are also pretty high in my college, mostly the placement is in MBA program but now due to this NEP other courses are also getting proper college placements, with an average of 3-4 LPA.
Campus Life :
The campus life is in a full fledged way now, with fests almost every 2-3 months, it's a very happening and jolly environment in the campus. The college focusing on different societies for different art forms like dance, cultural, photography, cinema, management and many more.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
