- The thing which I like most about the college is the campus.
- The faculty are very helpful and the infrastructure of the college is ancient type.
Dislikes
- They don't have the lift facility but I think it should be there .
- A few classrooms are air conditioned but most of them are not.
Remarks :
I choose this college for its good NAAC rating and the quality of education they provide is great. The admission is totally on the merit basis of the h.s examination. No other GD, interview or admission test is heldm
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I love finance and want to learn finance by heart. The qualification of the faculty is amazing. They have done PhD and many other renowned courses. Semester exams are taken timely and the difficulty is standard. They provided all type of scholarship facilities like SVMCM, and the other scholarships for minorities.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any internship form the college. But they offer many internship.some if them are paid and some are non paid.they got a lot of projects and the task of them are very interesting and knowledgeable.
Placement Experience :
The college placement cell conducts many placement drives and some big companies like Amazon, TCS, come for recruiting the students. The average package is around 3.5 lpa A few percentage of students got the placement. My plan is to pursue MBA after this course
Campus Life :
Sorry to say but no fest is held in this college. There are a lot of books and journals are available in the library.you can easily find your required book. The classroom are the best thing they are very spacious and have projectors to take digital classes. Many sports and extra curricular activities are held throughout the year. There is an Instagram page maned MAC CONFESSION which is run by the students but other than this I don't have the idea of any other social group or website run by the students. The college provides hostel facility and the hostel is at 2min walking distance form the college. The fee of the hostel is very nominal as it is a govt hostel. The food quality and menu of the hostel is average.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
