Remarks :
The ranking of this college is good among the agricultural colleges in India. Placement cell is active in this college. Previous students got placed in very good place through placement cell with monthly income 30000-40000 rupees. Admission is done through higher secondary (12th class) result. Admission process is satisfactory. Marks of physics, chemistry,biology and English is calculated for preparation of merit list and according to the merit list admission process is done
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty professors are well educated. They are all researchers. Time to time exam is happened. Semester system is prevail in the university. Per semester there is 2 exam one is midterm and endterm . Midterm consist of 20 marks and endterm consist of 50 marks . Our university also provides various type of scholarships like svmc ,oasis etc..
Internships Opportunities :
In the last year that is 4th year there is internship program. In the internship we have to go many villages and talk with the farmers about there problems to cultivate any crops and give suggestions to solve the problem. The govt give us 15000 rupees for this work .
Placement Experience :
A student should complete his bsc agriculture degree for participating in placement program. The offered job has 30000-40000 rupees per month from joining type . Almost 20-25 % getting placement through placement and rest 80% students also have many opportunities like ada,ado,upsc etc
Campus Life :
Faculty as well as hostel infrastructure are good. Many fest like hostel picnic ,year picnic ,annual sport program, social etc are happened . Bed ,reading table ,rack and other necessary tools are previously present in hostel room . Food quality is moderate in normal day . Approx 4 grands are there in hostel. There are central library which is largest library and have all type of books

Placement Experience :
Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
