Techno : A dream college or overhyped

- Infra is ok ok type as the college building is still under construction.
- Faculty are good. Some of them are from Jadavpur, some pursued M.TECH from good colleges.
Dislikes
- College hasn't a good canteen.It have very limited amount of stuffs at a condition you have to pay in cash only.
- Campus life is just a myth for Techno students.
Remarks :
The factors were I hadn't got a good rank in JEE as well as in WBJEE. So, according to my rank, this college is upto the mark for me as the fees is also bearable by my financial condition of family. This college provides a good opportunity for placement too if you're working hard and preparing for it. Also, you'll get a lot of off campus opportunities around college as the college is situated in the IT sector of Kolkata i.e. heart of Kolkata.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As far as the review of teaching is concerned... My college has very good faculties but the management didn't give them proper classes to teach in detail... They just get 1-2 classes a week and if any holiday comes on that specific day then we've to suffer as the syllabus didn't get completed on this and this is happening from the first sem. All the class time got hectic because of scheduled internal exams... Students have to take the internal exams without completion of the syllabus. Management is average
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven't opted for any internship. As I said earlier college is only provided you the paid internship. As far as the projects are concerned... The faculty members didn't take out a time for helping them to complete the projects.
Placement Experience :
There are mostly paid intership you're getting. College is very least in providing you the preparation for the placement exams... You should get prepared from online then something can happen... In my branch a very least amout of people get placed on very low package.
Campus Life :
Limited very limited amount of books and seats available in the library. College hasn't it's own library it is someone else who owned it. They provide you only semester books and fun fact is that after the completion of 1/3 of the semester you get the book. But they have to get fees time to time... They will charge a late fine of 500 per month. There is a small playground front of college building. Visiting our college someone can't say that the students are leading a campus life.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
