The factors that made me choose this college are because firstly it is very near to my home.. secondly, it's a very supportive college for students who are pursuing sports. I didn't face any interview or written test for admission...the admission procedure was very simple...all you have to do is open the centralized portal and all the further admission procedures are given there.
I have chosen B. A 3-year multidisciplinary course that includes subjects like physical education, philosophy, and human development. The qualifications and faculty are pretty good and the teachers are also very friendly and cooperative. Exams were also taken on time..and the difficulty level was medium. There was no fee hike because it's a government college the fees are very reasonable who want to pursue their academics..also there are scholarships like Vivekanand scholarship which is only eligible for students who have scored 60 percent in 12th standard
No.. I have not opted for any internship or something like that in college. This is a government college and there is no scope for opting for an internship or something like that. No companies or roles are offered under internships with stipends.
The college does not provide any placement or job opportunities because it's a totally government college. My first plan after graduation is to join the Indian armed forces and my second plan is to pursue my studies after graduation in physical education...after getting the degree in B.P.ED I can easily work as a sports coach or instructor in any institute.
Campus life is pretty good especially teachers are very friendly and cooperative. Fests and pujas are conducted very often like annual fests and Pujas like Saraswati pujas. Almost all the books are available in the library making the library a favorite place for a bookholic and anyone can issue can book. Extracurricular activities and sports are often conducted. Also, WhatsApp groups have been made for students who have any queries regarding college.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
