Read Full ReviewAfter 12th I dropped out for 2 years and prepared for NEET and took most of the entrance exams available related to the medical profession. That's how I came across the Jipmer entrance test for BSc nursing and other allied courses in 2020. Now admission is based on the NEET scores but you have to apply separately when the notification is released for admission for the course of your choice. There is no interview or GD of any kind, the admissions are purely based on merit but there is a separate reservation for Puducherry and other union territory students. Also, reservations based on caste categories are present for other state students. After admission, you have to undergo a free full body medical checkup which is done here in the Jipmer hospital by the staff. Most applicants with a moderate NEET score of 450 or greater(general category) can get admitted to BSc courses. The seats usually get filled with 2 rounds of counselling and if the remaining spot admission is also conducted.
