Campus is well maintained with good workers. Infrastructure is very nice. Social life is good because it has many clubs and committees (music, dance , tungsten , finance.....etc)which we can include us according to our interests.

The main event in jipmer is spandan which is a week long intercollege fest that occurs once a year. It consists of sports , arts and many more fun activities. There are dance, photography, film, sports clubs

Here, we have a yearly fest called Spandhan, which is the largest fest in the south india, here after classes, timings are very flexible, we can come and go at any time, so life here is good and I play hockey, usually go to other college fest to play hockey.

We have a variety of clubs including dance club, music club and drama club. Regular sessions are organized by these clubs. Along with that we also have regular sports tournaments organized every year (intra-college as well as inter-college) and the sports played include cricket(leather ball), football, tennis, table tennis, badminton, basketball, chess, carrom, swimming, etc Even the hostels are good… the only issue with hostels is that they don’t allow you to fit the a/c in your rooms even at your own expense. Also refrigerators are not allowed in the hostel rooms though there is a common refrigerator which exists for the entire hostel.

Most all the festivals jipmer celebrating at a good level without any distractions and discrimination, the best college which provides opportunities to express our talents. Spandan is one of the mind-blowing performances happening every year. we celebrate it for a week. The library is so huge and provides the best area for studying and exploring new things in medicine. Every year there will be conducting sports and extracurricular events. Social groups are so active. The hostel is a big complex.

The campus life in JIPMER for students in BSc courses is average compared to MBBS students here as most of the events are conducted by them. Of course, you can participate in all the events but sometimes you may feel biased as the management considers you inferior to mobs. Talking about the annual fest there is Spandan which is a 1 week-long intercollege event that is magnificent and usually conducted during August and there is Conaissance which is a 3 day medical conference where top doctors from all over India take part. Jipmer also has a huge central library which is open 24/7 and has all the medical books that you can think of also nursing college has a separate library inside the College. Jipmer also has a lot of clubs like music social dance photography and a lot of interbatch competitions in which you can participate in both arts and sports. The hostels here are average as it's a govt college that has both single & sharing rooms inside the campus and mess food is below average.

Students can choose any of the books they want to read by registering in the library. interclass sports and cultural activities are also conducted every year by the Jipmer.
