A complete cool climate with discipline and education

What I Liked

And one more thing what I like here is the discipline and which they make us to live and the rules are also liked by me

What I didn’t like

Wanted is the uniform because we all as to where a uniform and wearing a uniform everyday is someone difficult instead of the civil dresses
And one more thing which doesn't like is we are not allowed to go out whenever we want and also the leaves are not given also very much less than also here we have to maintain 75% attendance which is one of the worst thing.

All you need ro Know about Amrita Bengaluru

What I Liked

The faculty in the college are not like the almighty and self centred people . They are friendly and soft. Most of the faculty are young so they tend to understand us and change the teaching plans or schedules accordingly.
I personally like the camps life as there is no commotion. Everyone lives their own life and nothing imposed on us. My personal best thing is that the college is very active culturally in helping the students know more about the importance learning values and respecting our culture.

What I didn’t like

The campus infrastructure is a bit old and small. When compared to other colleges or branches of amrita . This campus is small and needs many more facilities.
Outside food is not allowed in campus which is a huge problem as students should only buy from cafeteria in campus and hostellwrs cannot leave campus so they can only see cafeteria as substitute for mess.

Placement Experience:

The college used to have food placent percentage till last year but things are not looking this year as the percentage dropped from 98 to 70. Accenture, JP Morgan, TCS, Cisco are some of the most recruiting companies. A student needs ro have atleast 6 cgpa to sit for placements . But students with 8 cgpa are the one eligible for most of the companies that pay good. The college also has programs for students who want to do masters in other countries.

Remarks:

The admission process is completely online. It is done through amrita online admission portal. The admission is depending on jee score, Amrita entrance exam score and if written you can apply other exam scores also. There is a lot of difference on the chance of getting admission based on the home state of the student. If a student from banglore applies they have more chance than for someone from Delhi or Andhra. The counselling process starts after 2 sessions of AEEE are done. Before counselling starts a few students are given the option of selecting non scholarship admission which comes to 6 lakhs per annum currently. If a student chooses non scholarship they have to pay 10k and still uncertain of their admission.

Aseb review

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good we had 92.2% placed. Every year the placement rates are really good. We have classes in courses included with training us for the placement every semester starting from 2year. On aptitude , Soft skills and verbal communication.

Remarks:

I had online test. You can choose the campus you want to take up the online test(one of the amrita campus). There is negative marking in exam . Based on your percentile you will get your courses and you have 2 changes to take up tests.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I listend a lot about the college ambiance teaching and facilities provided by them, which all together made me choose this campus. and I feel happy for the decision i made. The faculty teaching is also good and they interact with students very well.

Remarks:

The college campus is very big and pleasant. The college look spacious and very well furnished. I got admission in this campus through my jee mains even though i wrote aeee exam which is conducted by amrita institutions and i selected bengalure campus

Amrita review

What I Liked

I like the smart classrooms which is were mostly ai students study....we have a charging point for each desk and a router in each class.
The faculty for ai are good and they try to make u publish a lot of papers and we do a lot of projects.

What I didn’t like

The hostellers really struggle with both food and the people.
We cannot get outside food like swingy or own induction or even a kettle so we are forced to eat the unhealthy hostel food or depend on chips and snacks.

Placement Experience:

If u 8.5 or 9 cgpa + u have a chance to get a decent job...anything below 8 Is like telling there is a huge possibility u won't get a job at all or ull get a job where the lpa is 3 or 2 . The placement rate is currently 40%

Remarks:

I didn't take any group discussions or interview or anything like that. I just didn't get any other better option. Ai and cse are good in amrita.....I would not recommend any other course. Eee and mechanical are really horrible courses in amrita.

A detailed explanation of my collage

What I Liked

Campus of good library, good labs and good environment

What I didn’t like

Faculties are good but you need to work hard to understand the subjects
Because of small campus you may feel it is not that much good as other colleges

Placement Experience:

When I join it have a good placement record and percentage but due to bad condition happening in the IT companies nowadays , there is no that good record now a days in campus placement and not that many companies are coming

Remarks:

According to rank got by collage i write Amrita entrance exam called "AEEE" i scored decent rank in it, but in council I got different brand So that I went non scholarship quote and choose ECE in banglore campus

The unexpected college

Placement Experience:

The placements and jobs are nice actually and still I am a first year student so the amount of input I can give is limited yet from what I heard from the seniors the placements are the best in here and that's a fact.

My view on my clg

What I Liked

Our college courses don't have end sem exams we have end sem projects instead which helps us gain more experience
And they help us publish papers on average everyone from our class have published atleast 2 conference papers

What I didn’t like

The management has all the power students can't go against them for any reason
We have only 3 hours outing everday that to from 3.30 to 6.30 when we go out or in our parents get a message and if we are late we would have be blocked from outing for certain period of time depending on how late we are

Placement Experience:

Any person with Cgpa 6 and above without any active backlogs can applybfor placements The recent companys who visited are SAP Labs , Amazon, Infosys ,Arista Networks,Palo Alto Highest package till now is 25 Lpa and placements are still going on Around 30 percent were placed till now

Remarks:

I gave an online test and, they even considered my jee mains score and given me chance for councling i applied for Cse i got this College with 200000 Scholarship and fee of 300000 .but to maintain my Scholarship i had to keep a cgpa of 8 and above

A review on collage

What I Liked

The faculty we have got are experienced, and that's very useful.
Instead of an end semester examination, we are evaluated on basis of our projects for our branch. This is a very good practice as it will prepare us for real world problems

What I didn’t like

The collageis very small in size compared to other collages.
We must clean our own rooms in the hostel, and with the work we will be having in collage sometimes we will it is a little more. Also we get hot water only for some time in the morning and in the evening, so we feel it is difficult mainly during the weekends.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are available, and we will be eligible for the company according to our cgpa, if we have 9 and above we can get all the companies, few companies consider 8.5 and a few 8 above and 7 bove. For the student above 5 or 6 we will have mass placements, that's the companies hire them in bulk. We also have some internship opportunities in our 3rd year itself.

Remarks:

We had a written entrace exam, no GDs and interviews. The written exam also was for the seat and scholarship purpose, there are people who entered with jee scorecard as well without writing this entrance exam. And there are some people who paid extra anad dod not even show any of the scorecard and entered the collage.

Amrita, Bangalore.

What I Liked

Even it is in Bangalore. With limited resources campus is good and very eco friendly.
The importance that will given to the co curricular actives along side of education, i like the most.

What I didn’t like

Coming to the campus you will have one block and you can find the whole college in it.
Food is one of the main concern here and as campus is 40 acres you don't find much space to have privacy.

Placement Experience:

Placements to Amrita is really good. If your capable then campus is capable for getting the companies to the campus. Primary criteria is to not have a single backlog and after that according to your CGPA you need to apply to the companies. Every year around 98% people get placed. At present running placements highest in Bangalore campus is 52lpa. And average is 9.8lpa

Remarks:

Amrita is also one of the best college in the private institutions. I have faced an written test to get into the college and general counselling process will be held and there you need to choose your favourite branch along with the course.
