Food quality is okay and edible. There are many variety of option to eat. You can have sandwich, eggs, Chaat food , fruit and rice, roti, daal and much more. Hostel in within the campus. If you have scholarship then there is no accomodation fee but if not then it would be 80000 per year. 1 room two students.
Social life in the campus is one of the best. No rule or tension between of seniors or juniors. No ragging and a friendly environment. Senior students are really friendly towards fresher and welcoming. Even the facilities are really and welcoming and friendly. Many are conducted frequently during the semester to relax and release academic tension. You can join any club and do any thing without having any prior experience and try new things and club members would always welcome you. Sports Tournament are held for many sports such as frisbee, football, cricket, volleyball, table tennis and much more. Also these things are conducted by students only and there are very less involvement of faculty members. Although they do participate in these tournament as an competitors.

Read Full ReviewThe undergraduate program at Azim Premji University makes it compulsory for students to stay in the hostel, it is a fully residential program. The hostel rooms are in a 40 floor building within the campus, 15 min away from the class room buildings. The rooms are shared between two people, the mess is not great but ok for university life. The quality keeps varying. The hostel rooms are sufficiently big for students and come with a cupboard, table, chair and bed and mattress.
The university has many clubs and cells like the dance club, debate club, placement cell, social enterprise cell, movie club etc. which keeps the students engaged and entertained. The college fest is a fun filled three day event called Unmukt, happening in March. The university also has a sports fest called Espirit that happens usually in February. It is also a three day event. The clubs organize regular student led activities like open mic, dance night, DJ night etc. on weekends and festive holidays.
Read Full ReviewThe rooms are twin sharing, they are big enough to bear 2 single beds , 2 cupboards and 2 study tables , after that there some space to put any miscellaneous that you have , like laundry bags , dustbins etc. every floor has 2 common washrooms on either side and 2 common pantries. It's a 40 floor hostel . Having 1st floor as a common floor and floors 4-20 as males floor , 21-40 as females floor and floors 3 reserved for gender neutral people. The mess food is good. It's nutritious and flavorful and serves the palatte of both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Near the mess there is tuck shop and a chaat corner that students also eat from . You don't have to apply for a hostel you'll be give one anyway because it's a residential university. You're not allowed to live outside the university ( day scholars). The registration for the hostel room will be done on the same day of your arrival at campus for admission.
Great. There is alot of student diversity on the campus, people from all lover india are presnet here . So you'll never feel left out. There are also many different clubs and societies that could be a good way to socialise . You can also start your own club or society of you please to. We have a lot of student led clubs and initiatives like Sustainable farming club, Azim Premji Radio ,Thrift store,Hiking club, Clay club , campus theatre and many more. This university is now slowly picking up on sports and are working on bettering it by employing coaches. however the infrastructure is great , we have 6 indoor badminton courts, 5 indoor table tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, a unisex gym ( that does have non- male hours), football ground, cricket nets and pitch , frisbee ground, kabbadi ground, archery area. Students are free to explore their sporting interests whenever and wherever they want. We also have our own fest - Unmukt. It usually takes place around February last week.
Read Full ReviewYes, we do have a Hostel, which is 40 Storey building, each floor has common bathroom on both sides of the building and pantry, and common room. I don't know how much rooms are there in each floor exactly, but each room will be sharing with two students, and whole building has a capacity of 3000 student. Our Hostel mess is little bit fancy and complicated because first of all you have to pay every time before every meal, and it has its own food application just like Zomato or swiggy where you have to order it from there and get the QR code and after scanning the QR code you will get Slip whatever you have ordered. Food quality is decent and little bit expensive, there are total two dining table, both are far away from each other. there is nothing to apply for hostel rooms because it is mandatory for everyone who are planning to get admission.
I have just started my graduation this year, by spending almost 4 years it I get some short of idea that campus life of APU is very vibrant and diversity. Students come here from all over India which makes this campus more diversity. Infrastructure of campus is designed in such a way that it creates a less footprint, and sustainable towards environment and nature, there is not any color on the wall of the academic blocks and windows are more than walls. it also has hostel building which contains 40 Storey and library which contains more that 1 lakh books. One thing I like about my campus is there are lot of activity happening all the time, which have lot of clubs, committee for ex., poetry club, choir club, theatre club, badminton club, football club, basketball club, Sustainable committee etc.

With a celing fan, 4 Three pin charging sockets and 3 LED lights. The food quality is okayish with tonnes of varieties available throughout the campus.
Life is college is pretty decent. You will find plenty of clubs to enroll in. However, several clubs will have preexisting domination from several people which makes it lesser welcoming for newer students.
Read Full ReviewAll the undergraduate students stay on campus, unless there's some serious medical reason. We have the world's tallest hostel building and all students live in the same building, irrespective of the gender. There are floors assigned to each gender and we can not go to the other genders floor. You can play late night games with your female friends in the common area, watch movies together, cook food together, etc. Food quality is decent. There are multiple outlets to buy food from and I enjoy some of the food items they offer. Menu is pretty simple, like thali for lunch and dinner while in breakfast you get south Indian dishes and some north Indian items like puri bhaji. I pay around 80,000 per year for hostel room. I have one roommate. There are common washrooms on each floor and a pantry to cook some food and fetch hot, cold and normal water. There is laundry service available and it is included in the fees so you don't have to pay extra to use it.
Annual festival "Unmukt" usually happens during March April. The other festival 'Katha' which is a dance festival takes place in the month of May. There are other events like National Social Enterprise Idea Challenge and Film festival which are gaining popularity recently and hence the timings vary. Library here is awesome. It is probably the best thing here other than the professors, at least for me. It has more than 1 lakh books and plenty of online research resource access. The best part is that it has wide range of subjects from Law to zen to astronomy, tantra, economics, etc. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and good vibe. Rich sport and extracurricular activity catalog with non competitive and inclusive approach. There are many clubs that are active: music club, film club, anime club, etc. This university takes LGBTQ+ rights and equality very seriously and hence they have facilities like gender neutral washrooms and a whole floor in the hostel which is gender neutral.
