Hostel food is pretty good and healthy. Menu keeps shuffling everyday. It is affordable and we are allotted hostels after admission. The room is in Mumbai. The environment here is usually pleasant, but in summers, it is really hot

Campus Life:

Social life in college is great. It is a very lively campus bustling with energy. Classrooms live up to the prestigious reputation of the college. Books are always available in the library. We have uncountable opportunities in sports. Badminton, cricket, football, table tennis, swimming, athletics, you name it.

Mess food is quite good. There are occasionally organised special meals. Fruits and juices and sweets are also served on regular basis. North Indian, South Indian, Punjabi all sorts of food items are served and the mess is very affordable. The hostel rooms are a little old. Some washrooms have been renovated and our cleaned regularly, sometimes some major issues may take some time for resolution.

Campus Life:

Food quality is good but not that much and hostels are really small as compared to you that get in 1st year after that only small roooms in which 2 people have to share that. It is based on your luck too.

Campus Life:

In my first year, I was in Hostel 16, and now in my second year, I am in Hostel 5. In the first year hostel was very luxurious and in 2nd and 3rd year the parent hostel sometimes felt like a jail(only for rooms food is good here also ). The hostel fee for 1 sem Is 15000/- and for mess fee for 1 sem is around 22500/-. In Mess, you will get food four times a day. Food quality is pretty nice for test wise you will be bored of the same food but nutrition wise it is good. The registration process is very smooth mostly process done online at the reporting time you just have to collect the keys to your room. The hostel and mess prizes are reasonable but if someone finds it hard to afford he or she can take a loan from banks inside the college (SBI AND CANARA)(a very smooth process). Almost 99,9% of students prefer here to stay in the hostel so I do have not much info about rented rooms or pg.

Campus Life:

Life here at IIT Bombay is amazing. We have great peers which provides ample opportunities to learn from others. It has a very large central library with a wide variety of books and journals. The total number exceeds 200,000. There are also departmental libraries. As IIT Bombay is the mecca of extracurricular activities there are numerous student-driven clubs, and every day there are lots of cultural. Technical and sports activities and events happening to promote social growth. Also, there are tech teams like a racing team, development, AUV, etc. for robotics and innovation. Lots of fests happen over the year like Mood Indigo ( cultural fest) and Techfest ( technical fest ) which take place in winter vacation time in December. It has one of the largest infrastructures with a lot of greenery and two lakes.

There are 4 big fests organized in a year by the students all of which are Asia's largest - Mood Indigo, Techfest, E-Summit by Ecell, and Social Fest by Abhyuday. Apart from this, there are department fests, department trips, and department sports events, organized by the department council. People from other departments are allowed in every department fests and trips but not in the sports. Boys are allowed in girls' hostel and vice versa from 7 am to 10 pm and there are no restrictions in going in and out of the campus which provides great freedom. There is a club for almost every hobby starting from the consulting club, analytics club, finance club or be it the cooking club or photography club. The film club known as the Silverscreen has done some really good work which is there on YouTube. All these clubs strive throughout the year to participate in the INTERNET CULTS and SPORTS. The infrastructure is most probably the best in India the hostels, lecture halls, and sports complex.
