Alumini network is very strong, campus is very big 650 acres.Big companies like TATA, JSW, Maruti Suzuki etc comes here for placement.Here placement record is quite good.Faculties are very experienced and completed their PhD from big IITS.

as vssut is the oldest engineering college of odisha, and it has its name and fame. it is a government institution. to get into vssut one must appear the joint entrance examination (jee) or also can give the odisha jee (ojee) . with the score you get in these examination you can sit for the ojee counselling where you have to fill your choices for the branches in vssut. according to your percentille you will get the respective branch. for computer science engineering you have to score 90 percentile in jee above 75 percentile for electrical engineering and just like this .

To gett enrolled in this college is quite easy. This college comes under the Government of Odisha for which it has unified counselling process for all Government engineering colleges in Odisha, i.e., OJEE. Here the students who are resident of Odisha and have cleared Jee Mains or the OJEE examination could participate in OJEE counselling with their respective ranks. Overall, this is one of the first and best Government College in Odisha having strong alumini connections and finest professors. Only demerit anyone could point is that it's location is little bit remote and in the upcoming years this problem could be resolved.

I like the well designed infrastructure of the college The facualty of the college is very cooperative There are greenery every where in the college campus There is lack of sports infrastructure in the college In the lab most of the instrument are old The admission process is taking through jee mains performance I took online coaching for clearing jee main exam

I am pursuing BTech in Electrical Engineering at the same college. The college is best in core field like mechanical, electrical engineering. Core branches provides the maximum placement in this college and its known for the same reason. Students have to qualify JEE MAINS with a minimum 85 percentile to choose electrical engineering in this college because this branch gives the best placement according to me.Our college gives the highest no. of jobs in core field.

The college is very good if you are interested to study in core branches as the college is famous for its placements in core branches. Last year, there was 95% placement in mechanical branch. You can get the college by jee main Or through Ojee examination. The cut off is less, you can also get the college in very low marks. There are 4 rounds taking place during the counselling.

I gave JEE examination and got selected for this college in electrical engineering course and i like my course in this college because the percentage of students getting placed is highest in electrical branch in this college. No there was no such group discussion or interview
