Name of the company that came into AMET is MAERSK, V ships, etc. for DG cadets there are such roles like engine Cadet, deck cadet, and electrical office. For NON DG cadets they choose profession according to their courses. There are no internship which is provided by the AMET.

Beacuse of UGC rule now for dg students too they implemented Internship and the college also provides internship programmes such as in chennai port etc.But there is also an andaman and nicobar internship in ship as trainee in which you have to pay and go through training.

The college has introduced a lot of topics which we can choose one and do a intership of 6 weeks. The college will give all the relevant documents needed for the internship and helps for placement in the company.

Internship can be done in any companies outside your college and the college gives you one month or more for completing your Internship and the internship opportunities are availed by the college and you can become a part of this team and complete your internship.

Many students will get their company while in the course itself and after course the selected students will go for sailing. It's really very good to get placement in top companies so that our future will ahead will be the best

Internships are not compulsory in all semesters , but if your willing to do one , definitely faculty will be helping you to reach right persons , they also have in campus intership section to provide intership for students abroad also

No I haven't but I'm searching for my gme course internships in ports. Which are in kochi, chennai,vaizag and other places... I actually trying to get into mearsk company,I wrote a sponsorship exam the result is yet to come.

Every students are asked to attend internship for a month period of time during our 3rd and 5th sem so that we can get a basic idea of what we are about to do onboard and it really helps us with that the clg provides us with the necessary leave that we can take for internship with no attandance being lost.
