Eligibility

• Candidates have to complete 10+2 in order to be eligible to apply to UG courses at Annamalai university.
• B.E: Candidates who wish to apply for the B.E course must have completed 10+2.
• MBBS/ BDS: Interested candidates must have completed 10+2.
• B.Pharm/ B.Sc Nursing/ BPT/ BOT: Candidates need Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology with any other subject in 10+2.
• B.Ed/ B.P.Ed: The candidates must complete graduation.

Selection Criteria

• For most UG courses candidates are selected for admission based on merit in the qualifying examination.
• B.E: Selection to various specializations in B.E is via TNEA counselling.
• MBBS/ BDS: Selection is based on NEET score and counselling conducted by DME/AIC.
• B.P.Ed: Selection is based on the candidate’s performance in qualifying exams, written tests and physical fitness.
• B.Pharm: Based on the candidate’s score in the university entrance test and interview.

Eligibility

• Candidates interested in applying for PG programs at Annamalai university must have a graduation in the respective subject with at least 50% marks.
• MBA/ MCA: Candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and 55% marks respectively.
• M.E./M.Tech: Candidates will have to complete B.E or B.Tech in relevant subjects.

Selection Criteria

• MBA/ MCA/ M.E./M.Tech: The candidates are selected based on performance in TANCET.
• M.A/ M.Sc/ M.Com: The selection is based on merit in the qualifying examination.
• M.Ed/ M.P.Ed: Based on an interview process as part of admission and the latter also checks the physical fitness of the candidate.
• M.Pharm: In addition to marks in qualifying examination looks at the score in university entrance test and interview.
• M.P.T/ M.Sc in (Agriculture):  Selection is based on the entrance exam and interview

Annamalai University M.Phil and PhD Admission

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed their master’s degree with 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university in order to be eligible to apply.

The selection process constitutes a written test and an interview.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma in Agriculture/ Horticulture: 55% in HSC or 10+2 with relevant subjects. 5% relaxation for backward classes and 10% relaxation for most backward classes.
• Diploma in Pharmacy:  10+2 with Physics and Chemistry, along with Biology/ Botany & Zoology/ Mathematics OR B.Sc. Degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics subjects either at
• the Higher Secondary level or at the graduate level.
• Diploma in Mining Engineering Programme: The S.S.L.C. Examination of the board of Secondary Education, Tamil Nadu (or) The Anglo Indian High School Examinations with Eligibility for Higher Secondary Course in Tamil Nadu (or) The Matriculation Examination of Tamil Nadu (or) any other Examination recognized as equivalent to the above by the Board of Secondary Education, Tamil Nadu.A pass in the 10th Standard (SSLC) with 35 Marks in Examination of any other equivalent qualification.
