• To be eligible, candidates should have completed the Higher Secondary Examination (H.Sc.) at the 10+2 level or an equivalent qualification.
• Applicants should not exceed 21 years of age as of July 1 in the year of admission. However, there is a relaxation of five years for candidates belonging to the SC/SCA/ST categories.
• Candidates for the above program will be selected based on their performance in the qualifying examination, along with an interview.

Annamalai University Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc) +  Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc) Course Details

The integrated program, Bachelor of Library and Information Science [B.Lib.I.Sc] + Master of Library and Information Science [M.Lib.I.Sc], provides students with a comprehensive educational path in library and information sciences. This program typically spans both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering foundational concepts and advanced coursework in areas such as information organization, digital libraries, and research methods, preparing students for roles as skilled information professionals and librarians.

Reservation of Seats: Seats for candidates belonging to ST / SCA / SC / MBC / DNC / BC / BC (Muslim) / OC communities will be reserved according to the rules and regulations of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, 5% of seats are allocated for differently-abled persons by the government norms.

Note: Demand draft for M.Sc. Programme 200/- for SC/SCA/ST and 400/- for Others, which is drawn in favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University, payable at Annamalainagar / Chennai.
