• To be eligible, candidates should have completed the Higher Secondary Examination (H.Sc.) at the 10+2 level or an equivalent qualification in the academic stream with any science subject and a minimum aggregate of 40% marks.
• The eligible science subjects include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; Physics, Chemistry, and Botany; Physics, Chemistry, and Zoology; and Physics, Chemistry, and Biochemistry.
• Applicants should not exceed 21 years of age as of July 1 in the year of admission. However, there is a relaxation of five years for candidates belonging to the SC/SCA/ST categories.
• Candidates for the above program will be selected based on their performance in the qualifying examination, along with an interview.

Reservation of Seats: Seats for candidates belonging to ST / SCA / SC / MBC / DNC / BC / BC (Muslim) / OC communities will be reserved according to the rules and regulations of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, 5% of seats are allocated for differently-abled persons by the government norms.
