• Admission to the program requires a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
• Additionally, proficiency in sports is considered desirable for prospective candidates.
• Candidates for the above program will be selected based on their performance in the qualifying examination, along with an interview.
• Candidates should not have reached the age of 34 as of July 1st in the year of admission. Nevertheless, candidates from SC/SCA/ST categories may be granted a relaxation of two years, extending the eligibility age to 36 years.

Annamalai University Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) Course Details

The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) is a postgraduate program that focuses on advanced training in physiotherapy, encompassing specialized areas such as musculoskeletal, neurology, cardiorespiratory, and community health. This program aims to equip physiotherapists with advanced clinical skills, research capabilities, and specialized knowledge to enhance their effectiveness in patient care and rehabilitation.

Reservation of Seats: Seats for candidates belonging to ST/SC/SCA/MBC/DNC/BC/BCM/OC communities will be reserved in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Note: Demand draft for M.Sc. Programme 200/- for SC/SCA/ST and 400/- for Others, which is drawn in favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University, payable at Annamalainagar / Chennai. Students are advised to bring an ample amount of money at the time of admission to cover the cost of the uniform, which is estimated to be around INR 3000.
