• To be eligible, candidates should have a pass in B.Sc. in Botany or B.Sc. in Plant Biology/Plant Biotechnology with not less than 50% of marks under Part III.
• Candidates for the above program will be selected based on their performance in the qualifying examination, along with an interview.

Annamalai University M.Sc in Botany Course Details

The M.Sc. in Botany is a postgraduate program that offers advanced studies in plant biology, ecology, and taxonomy. Students engage in in-depth studies, exploring plant physiology, genetics, and contribute to the academic field through original research presented in a master's thesis.

Reservation of Seats: Seats for candidates belonging to ST / SCA / SC / MBC / DNC / BC / BC (Muslim) / OC communities will be reserved according to the rules and regulations of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, 5% of seats are allocated for differently-abled persons by the government norms.
