• To be eligible for the program, candidates should possess an Undergraduate degree in various disciplines such as Zoology, Botany, Plant Biology & Plant Biotechnology, Plant Science, Animal Science, Animal Science & Biotechnology, Animal Biotechnology, Advanced Zoology & Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Industrial Fish and Fisheries, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or B.F.Sc./B.Sc. Agriculture/B.Voc. Aquaculture/Commercial Aquaculture/Industrial Aquaculture or any UGC Kaushal Kendra supported UG degree in Aquaculture or Fisheries, B.Sc. Biotechnology, or B.Tech. Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering from UGC-recognized Universities/Academic Institutions.
• The minimum requirement for eligibility is a 50% mark in Part III of the undergraduate program.
• Applicants should have completed 20 years of age as of 01.07.2023 and 28 years of Upper age limit as of 01.07.2023. Five years of age relaxation for SC/SCA/ST candidates.
• The selection process for all programs will be based on candidates' performance in Part III of their academic qualifications and their performance in the interview.

Reservation of Seats: Seats for candidates belonging to ST/SC/MBC/BC/OC communities will be reserved by the Rule of Reservation set by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
