• Eligibility for admission requires a recognized Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA, and ST candidates from Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying examination. This includes B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. Degree Programmes, B.Pharm. Degree Programmes, or Master's Degree in the relevant branch of Science/Arts, as prescribed.
• Alternatively, candidates with a 10+2 qualification along with AMIE or a 10+3 years diploma awarded by the State Board of Technical Education plus AMIE are also eligible for admission.
• Candidates holding Section 'A' & 'B' certificates (A.M.I.E.) and similar certificates from professional bodies like the Aeronautical Society of India, recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, and enrolled before May 31, 2013, are considered equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. degree holders. This recognition is contingent upon having two years of regular full-time experience in the relevant field after the successful completion of the course, including project work. Additionally, candidates who have qualified as AIIA (Associateship Examination of the Indian Institute of Architects) with a valid registration with the Council of Architecture are also eligible for admission.

The mode of selection involves an online application through TANCET / CEETA-PG.  The duration of all the offered programs is two academic years, consisting of four semesters.

Note: 

• Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in degree courses are ineligible for admission, except for B.E./B.Tech. and M.C.A. degree courses.
• Individuals with B.E./B.Tech. Degrees earned through Distance/Weekend mode programs are not eligible for consideration.
• Candidates who have obtained their degrees without completing the 10th Std., 12th Std., or a 3-year diploma, and those who have pursued 3/4/5 years degree programs, are not eligible for admission.
