• For Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) admission candidates successfully completion of 10+2 examinations with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Biology, or Botany and Zoology.
• Alternatively, candidates can qualify by obtaining a pass in the Diploma in Pharmacy Course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
• Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the aforementioned examinations is also accepted.
• Candidates from other states are eligible to apply, subject to the following conditions: They will be considered only under open competition, irrespective of the category. Consideration will be given to them only after exhausting all candidates from Tamil Nadu.
• Candidates applying for the program should have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2023.
• Seats for candidates belonging to ST/SCA/SC/MBC/BC/OC communities will be allocated in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, within the mentioned reservations, 5% of the total available seats are reserved for Orthopedically and Physically disabled candidates, following the norms established by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
• Admission decisions will rely solely on the marks attained in the qualifying examination. The ranking will be determined by the candidate's percentage of total marks in the higher secondary course, whether conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent board.
