IIIT Vadodara Admission Dates 2027

CSE is the institute's main programme and has the strongest competition for seats. IIIT Vadodara's B.Tech charges exceed those of government-quota NIT programmes but remain below the fees at private engineering colleges with a similar brand position. IIIT Vadodara Admission Process

B.Tech Admission Through JEE Main and JoSAA

Selection for every B.Tech course is based on JEE Main performance, and JoSAA conducts the admission process. Applicants must complete Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The required aggregate is 75%, reduced to 65% for SC/ST students. As IIIT Vadodara is an Institute of National Importance, its seats appear in the IIIT category of JoSAA rather than the NIT category.

Among the branches, CSE usually has the most competitive cutoff. In the final JoSAA round, its Other State OPEN Gender-Neutral closing rank generally falls between 8,000 and 12,000. AI and ECE have similar levels of competition, while Cyber Security and recently introduced specialisations generally close at higher, less competitive ranks.

The B.Tech admission sequence is:

• Take either JEE Main Session 1 or Session 2 and meet the qualifying requirement.

M.Tech and MCA Admission

For M.Tech, applicants need a B.Tech or BE degree with at least 60%, or 55% for SC/ST candidates, along with a valid GATE score in the relevant subject. CCMN handles the seat allocation. MCA applicants must have a BCA or B.Sc degree in Computer Science, IT, or Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of 60%. Admission to MCA is based on the NIMCET score.

IIIT Vadodara Campus and Infrastructure

The temporary academic facility of IIIT Vadodara is located at Block 9, Government Engineering College, Sector-28, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
