yearly fest is called meraz it is usually held in oct end nov start but due to some issues it was delayed to feb last year, there is a wide range of books and a beautiful liberary it covers all the books which are required during the course work and for other interests too it also has arts books like psychology, literature, economics. being a new iit sports are currently lacking due to improper grounds and much on going work to make grounds. there is a students council known as cosa council of student affairs, which is totally run by students under it, almost there exist a club for every thing be it dancing, queer group, singing, drama club, digital designing club, fasion club, astronomy club and tech clubs like for coding robotics motorsports fintech blockchain club cyber security club even chemistry club

Campus life is very awesome Sports infrastructure is still developing Academic infrastructure is state of the art Library is very good, with books available for every domain Campus is very clean and green Student council (COSA) has sci-tech clubs and cultural clubs Festival celebration, college fest and hackathons keep students engaged

The infrastructure is great. All the buildings are beautiful. We have functional ac in our rooms and lift in all our hostels. College has many clubs and societies, you will definitely find something you can be an integral part of.

Life at campus is wonderful it is outstanding mess facilities is quite good and sports facilities is average and every Saturday and Sunday there is workshop and events organised by third and second year students to enjoy more there is cafe inside the campus clubs are very good specially music club and robotics club there are almost all type of club this year fest would be held in December it is central India's biggest cultural fest and its name is meraz There are two library in campus . throughout the year students bodies organised events like pratyana sports competition bhilai premiere league for cricket one such social group ek bharat shreshtha bharat and niravana for supporting LGBT community. infrastructure is average

Here i will say something that IIT Bhilai lacks in is the cultural part which is somewhat different from old IITs and also the sports facilities are growing because IIT Bhilai moved to its permanent campus in 2023 only thus a significant amount of work is still to go still temporary badminton courts table tennis courts Volleyball courts and basketball courts along with ground for cricket and football are available . The clubs are quite good which let students interact in the field of interest they pursue . Library facilities are also available

Miraj show was conducted by the college this show was very nice. because a comedian and two singers came to our IIT BHILAI for a good performance. And my experience was very nice I enjoyed every moment of every fast.

Social life is very good. I am exposed to various cultured people on campus. there will be an event called MIRAZ every year or 2. One can see those on YouTube. it is a 3-5 day event every time it is held. coming to sports, in the old campus there was well-equipped infrastructure for sports but in the new campus, I think the sports infrastructure will be ready by the end of this summer 2024. the construction is going on now and it will be ready soon. sports include basketball, badminton, volleyball, etc and credits should be fulfilled in sports around 9 credits. and 15 hours should be played to earn one credit and 9 credits should be done 4 years of graduation. this can be increased later. instead of sports, one can take NSS too in which one should go towards service and all. there are no restrictions on playing time or anything. can play any time. food quality can be said average. it's a basic addon system. add-on tastes well and good. so, can be manageable.

The life at our hostels is quite nice. Obviously in 1st year, we are staying in hostels which were for PhD students so there is a win for us. As Chhatisgarh is a very hot state. In summer hostels will be very hot and unbearable so keep that in mind. Although there are many things to do here to socialize such as there is a lake inside the campus, trees, and much greenery is present.

Campus Life is really very joyful and interesting as it's our first experience to live in a college hostel and have lots of fun and rome around college campus day-night as we have a very big campus so we have many way around to see.we have a vast library for student with all sorts of books to study.our sports culture is quite good and is developing more and more as we are spending more time in our permanent campus .so student play all types of sports and we practice many sports for inter iit as we have our biggest sports of All 23 iit in month of December similarly goes with tech and cultural.we have a well developed environment of these cultural.we have many clubs for dance ,drama,music,arts and social welfare club includes nss where we provide food and clothes to poor student.our hostel is very spacious and we have a good food in our mess compare to different colleges we have a proper mess commite to always go through and have food inspection on regular basis.hostel is mandatory.

There are many clubs like Beathackers,Swara, Epsilon club, Robotics, Renaissance, Neer passe,etc., The fest of IIT Bhilai is MERAZ conducted around the time of winter. We have the biggest library and well facilitated classrooms. The hostel rooms are air conditioned and kept clean. We have 3 kinds of mess here , where the students are distributed within them.
