SXUK MBA Admission 2026
SXUK offers MBA as its flagship program. It is a two-year, full-time programme with four specialisations, namely Finance, Human Resource, Marketing and Business Analytics.
- The popular specialisation of MBA at SXUK is MBA Finance
- SXUK total fees of MBA and its specialisations is INR 10.8 Lakhs.
The eligibility criteria required to apply for the MBA Course at SXUK is:
- Candidates must be a Graduate with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and Christian candidates).
- Candidates must also appear in National Level MBA Entrance Tests (XAT/CAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT).

SXUK Admission Test 2026
SXUK conducts an admission test for all PG and integrated law courses known as Internet Based Test (IBT) with Full Remote Proctoring. Candidates are given two options for mode of IBT which are as follows:
- Option 1: IBT from any convenient place of the candidate's choosing.
- Option 2: IBT at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata Campus.
Note: The option once chosen by the candidate cannot be changed or modified after the submission of the application form.
For the candidates who chose SXUK IBT Option 1
- Mobile or Tablet will not be suitable, use only desktops and laptops
- Internet Browser: Google Chrome
- Operating system: Windows 10 and above
- The Mic and Web Camera must remain active throughout the Test Session, and it may be recorded to maintain transparency.
For the candidates who chose SXUK IBT Option 2:
- Candidates need to send an application to SXUK Email admission.enquiry@sxuk.edu.in.
- Candidates will be required to come to the SXUK Campus to physically appear for the Test.
- It will be on a “First Come First Served” basis and will be provided to the first 60 students who choose this option for SXUK IBT.

SXUK Integrated Programme Admission 2026
SXUK offers five-year integrated law degree programmes namely B.A.LLB.(Hons.) and B.Com.LLB.(Hons.). To apply, students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria of SXUK:
- Students must pass 10+2 in English with a minimum of 45% marks
- Candidates will be selected provisionally for admission at SXUK on the basis of the marks of Xavier Law Admission Test (XLAT).

SXUK PhD Admission 2026
SXUK offers Ph.D. programmes in disciplines such as English, Economics, Mass Communication, Psychology, Social Work, Commerce, Law and Management. The total annual fee of the PhD program is INR 1 Lakh. To be eligible for SXUK PhD Admission candidates must have completed masters and equivalent degree with at least 55% of marks.

SXUK XU-RET 2026
St. Xavier’s University Research Entrance Test (XU-RET) is conducted by the university for the candidates who have not qualified for scholarship in UGC-NET/ UGC- CSIR NET/GATE/ CEED and similar National level tests. XU-RET will be held in offline mode, and the candidates have to come to the University campus for the test.

Ques. What are the System Requirements for SXUT admission test?
Ans. SXUK admission test is an Internet Based Test. The minimum system requirements for IBT are as follows:
- Operating system should be Windows 10 and above
- RAM & Processor of 4 GB+ RAM, i3 5th Generation 2.2 GHz
- Inbuilt web cameras should be activated. Stable Internet connection will be required.
Candidates who are willing to appear for the IBT from the SXUK Campus may send an application to admission.enquiry@sxuk.edu.in. The same procedure will be followed like other candidates; the University will only provide the infrastructural support.
Ques. What is XU-RET exam at St Xavier Kolkata?
Ans. SXUK conducts St. Xavier’s University Research Entrance Test (XU-RET) for the students who have not qualified for scholarship in UGC-NET/ UGC- CSIR NET/GATE/ CEED and similar National level tests.
Ques. Is there any interview for admission at SXUK for PhD?
Ans. Yes, candidates who have qualified for scholarship in UGC-NET/ UGC- CSIR NET/GATE/CEED and similar National level tests and who have given XU-RET and scored a minimum of 50% have to appear for the interview to get selected for admission at SXUK PhD program.

Ans. SXUK allows admission from foreign nationals, PIO, OCI, NRI etc. under the “International Students” category. The process involves applying online, then after selection sending scanned copies of original certificates, passport, equivalence certificate (if degree from non-Indian board), English proficiency certificate (if required), etc.
Note: There is currently no provision for “lateral entry” or mid-course admission.
