Placement cells are there law department till now don't have much good placement reputation they are provided with internship letters and also. Assistant are there for helping my plan is for joining corporate firms

Internships may vary because as of now there are no current internships i'm pursuing, but yes there during a part of your course you are required to apply for an internship and you can apply in your choice of company which the college will help you get in.

I opted for internship not through college but myself. I did it myself mailed them and got selected in few places. college tells that it will help in getting placement as the last resort. don't know how much they help because students mostly find internships themselves.

Mostly in St.Xavier's University in the law department students take own initiatve to find internship and do their. Howeve4 if required the department helps but its advised not to rely on them for them being incompetent.

Acoording to NEP , 2020 every student has to do a compulsary internship programme to clear their semester . I am currently doing an internship programme provided by my college and also finding more intership programmes which i could find in future .

Yes, we have a lot of internship opportunity at several sectors, and the university if happy to help in case you are not able to find one for your self. They also have tie ups with NGOs and other law firms, like Khaitan and CO., Fox and Mandel, also other great firms. And the professors also help you a lot to find you a perfect place to do your internship at.

I have yet to apply for internship as it is my few years that I have been to this University . I have heard from my seniors that they have been assigned in the well known companies such as Wipro , Deloitte .

Internships are given to every course in every other semester. Just like law students have to complete minimum 15 days of internship in every semester. On the other hand, in my course the college will provide me internship in my 4th sem.
