The placements are perfect and very high paying for student freshly graduating as I have talked to my seniors and other professors the seniors are getting placed at very promising companies and are getting very good salaries
Rumors from family College friends Online ads Basically I heard about rvu from a lot of places and a lot of people who kept on saying how it's a good place to apply and try to get a spot in to better my education
Read Full ReviewPlacements are okay, this year average package was 4LPA and highest was 8LPA maybe. Cant depend on placements nowadays just by completing BBA or Bcom, we need to complete professional courses like CA, CS or something else which will land us a high paying job.
I chose this college because we have the option to choose our minors/electives from other Schools/Branches of RVU. Its like open education. They really help in upskilling ourselves with public speaking and presentations. Even technical skills are provided like R programming, python etc
Read Full ReviewRVU(in btech mainly) hasn’t started campus placements yet, but it’s committed to building students’ skills through industry-focused courses and internships. Companies like Infosys and TCS are likely to visit in the future. After graduating, most students aim to explore exciting job opportunities or pursue higher education.
Mainly I thought the legacy of the main college rvce would be same in Rvu and lately these management is kinda like amateurs and the consultancies said it’s a good college and each and every rule which applies to RVCE would apply to rvu as well and in placements also.
Read Full Reviewwe got quite a few internship opportunities in our second year from the college side which have a really good stipend but not many of them were actually use full to us many students left these internship to find one on their own , however this year we got quite a few good ones that might not pay but are extremely good opportunitues and even profs helped by providing internships with people they know , This year the placement opportunities have increased EY came this year and last year Deloitte a senior got places with Deloitte and a few of my friends got into EY
the main factors were the honours and the RV brand these two factors made me choose this college. I only wrote an online test (Covid time) when applying to the college and that I did not give an interview or GD i heard from some of my friends that they had given interviews I am not sure why I didn't give one but i beleive now it's because mandatory to give an interview when joining
Read Full ReviewAll the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
The placements were going to happen alongside RVCE students which is a great opportunity. Also unlike regular engineering colleges, here there is more skill and practical based learning rather than just mugging up stuff.
Read Full ReviewNot sure as our is the first batch will have to wait to learn about it, many companies are listed out, also professors have very good connection with the industry they help us get the internships very easily as of now, no problem for it
I had to choose this couse because i was not able to get seat through CET, so this has CS which i was intrested in but as i was bad in physics and chemitry this course doesnt have those subjects so that made me join it, also RV college of engineering being top 1 pvt engineering clg in banglore and RV university being in same campus as a sister institute it made me truth the college there are no written exams or any interviews, students can join based on there CET ranking and board exam marks good thing is it is an RSST trust, which is a 100 years old, Bad is that campus is undergoing a lot of construnction work admission can be done being presnt in one day as my course doesnt have any cut off thing for its KCET ranking, for students outside karanataka can enroll through their other exams if the have 80% plus percentage in board exams that is only thing or cut off criteria, so it is very easy to enroll, they will collect the confimation fees of around 5000 rs to block a seat
Read Full ReviewThe eligibility is one has to have good marks or CGPA in all year and they will get the opportunity to attend interviews for well known companies. As ours is the first batch still we have not faced any visiters or interview.
i chose this college primarily because of its spacious and well-maintained campus, which was not overcrowded, and its excellent placement record with reputed companies. The admission process included a written exam called RVSAT, conducted by the college and a personal interview with the Head of the Department(HOD). Admission criteria involved evaluating the RVSAT score, 12th grade percentage, and eligibility for scholarships based on academic performance. RVSAT featured questions from the 12th-grade syllabus, and the interview focused on the chosen course, mine being computer science, so the discussion centered on related topics. On the positive side, the campus infrastructure and placement opportunities are commendable. However, there are some drawbacks, especially regarding promises made during admission. For example, programs like student exchange opportunities (SEP) are highlighted but are extremely rare and often dependent of favpouring faculty.
Read Full ReviewIt feels a little bit hectic as they started taking internals on the 2nd week of our joining (3rd round). But still you can manage if you have already taken computer science in pu college but biology students with no computer knowledge will have to struggle a bit, but the faculty is really friendly and ready to help. They even took extra classes out of their own time for students who joined late. We have our midterm already in just one month of joining (because cet counseling took too long). They did conduct a skill development program for us which was somewhat helpful.....
Since RV university and RVCE are in the same campus it is said that the placement will be held together....and as RVCE is the best college in Karnataka (after nit suratkal) RV university definitely has to keep their name so yeah. Admissions through CET are definitely a lot easier they put up all the things you need to bring for the process on their website and even kea does so that's not going to be an issue.
Read Full ReviewGood placements have been for my seniors who have studied in my college even people have been to abroad for their study by college and have got jobs in other countries . The eligibility criteria is u need maintain good cgpa and be active in the sessions and in college
Nice campus good placements , the faculties are very good expect some . Theres are a lot of assignments given by teachers to do which give pressure for us and during the admission there was no interview or written test given
Read Full ReviewNo exactly sure about the placements and internships, because I don't bother about this, my interest is not in getting in to jobs, but I have heard that the top most package for bba in the last year is 12lpa
I choose this college because of its reputation, students must pass the interview to get in to the college, later there will be interview with dean and then select students to get in to college.
