Kirori Mal College had started its registration for admission to PG courses from 26th July 2021 and registration for admission for UG courses had started from 2nd August 2021. The first cutoff list for admission to UG courses will likely be released on Oct 1, 2021. There is a requirement of DUET, which will be held from 26th September to 1st October 2021, for admission to PG courses.

Students need to pass the 12th exams from a recognized board to be eligible for applying for UG courses at Kirori Mal College and selection will be done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. For PG courses, a bachelor’s degree in the respective field is required, for the candidate to be eligible. The applicant can not take admission in multiple courses at the same time and continue.

Both entrance tests and merit are used for selection or admission. Delhi University releases the cutoff lists and has exempted 7 lists of cutoff marks, in the previous years. The candidates who have completed their bachelor’s from DU will be required to give their last qualifying exam results for merit-based admission to PG courses, and the remaining candidates shall appear for DUET.

Kirori Mal College Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should be 12th passed with 40% marks aggregate in a specific stream.
  • If the candidate has scored 40% marks in aggregate and 50% in the subject specifically opted for Honors, then the student will be considered as an eligible candidate. 
  • Candidates must have passed with 55% marks in PCM and 50% marks in English for B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry and Physics.
  • For B.Com, the candidate must have Maths, Economics, and Business Studies in 12th grade.
