All you need to know about Loreto College

What I Liked

The most important is Faculty and then Time schedule and classes.
Also the interactive seminars and workshops.

What I didn’t like

The long time schedule and infastructure where we have to sit in the 5th floor in the scorching heat wave.
The coercion for participation after College programs which takes a toll on students.

Placement Experience:

Placements are few but not zero. Companies like TCS, Wipro, ICICI Bank offers placements but the lpa are much less. There was no dedicated Placement cell till now and now when there is we have miss our class or tiffin to attend it.

Remarks:

The Faculty members are knowledgeable and know their subjects well. Regular classes, Interactive sessions and weekly internal examination. responsibly finishes syllabus and makes you prepare for exams from beforehand.

My review about my College.

What I Liked

Atmosphere and surroundings are very good.
Campus food is really very delicious as a meal.

What I didn’t like

There is nothing much to dislike but I personally feel that exam theh should tell us exams fixture earlier.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are very good. The percentage is 73%. My plans after getting a degree are to study abroad to enhance my skills and fluent speaking and literature. 73% of students were placed after getting a degree with a fair LPA.

Remarks:

My college is good on every basis. I got my admission here because it's a good institute for learning. When I got admission here I gave an interview for admission purposes. and the criteria you have to get at least 60 % in 12th boards.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Average fee for English Hons. is Rs11000 per semester, Many scholarships are available, even many are provided by the state government of West Bengal as well. The campus is frequently visited by TCS and other companies for placements.

Remarks:

The admission process at Loreto College is based on merit. The selection is on a merit basis, and a personal interview happens. The application can be easily found on the official website of Loreto College, Kolkata.

The best college for girls in Kolkata

What I Liked

The teacher faculty is outstanding.. Everybody is very knowledgeable and helpful.

What I didn’t like

The campus life was not that great.. Strict rules are there.You have to follow them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose English Hons because I want to be a teacher in future.and the faculty of this college helped me a lot. Their teaching method is really helpful. The college is very supportive of fees..you can also pay your fees some weeks before the semester.

Remarks:

This college is very well known in the city for its glory, discipline and decorum. When I saw my name on the merit list. I just took admission without giving it a second thought. This is under CU. So no written test will be taken. The selection will be on your 12th board result.

My beautiful college

What I Liked

Our faculty is very helpful and very knowledgeable. Our campus is very aesthetic.
Our college encourages us to participate is various events and our annual fest is so much fun.

What I didn’t like

It’s a morning + day college so you have to get into the college in 8:30 so it’s hard to wake up at 5 every day as I live far.
You have a website where you have your attendance sheet and the attendance is maintained very strictly. So you just can’t bunk college even if you need to.

Placement Experience:

Our college is one of the most reputed colleges in Kolkata. I don’t know about the placements yet but I think if you study well you can do better with your life here. Also the teachers will guide you for that.

Remarks:

The faculty is very good. They held a short interview for the admission. They will guide you well. Also the atmosphere is very good and aesthetic. The classrooms are airy and beautiful. The teachers will treat you very well.
