Wilson College Mumbai was established in 1832 by Rev. John Wilson. It is considered one of the oldest colleges in Maharashtra. It is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and accredited ‘A’ grade from NAAC in 2017.

Wilson College offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in arts, commerce, and science to approximately 3000 students. The college has a faculty of 50 erudite staff. Programs like bachelor's in mass media, bachelor in arts in 10 subjects, bachelor's in commerce, bachelor's in science in 7 subjects, master's in science in 4 subjects, and Ph.D. in 4 subjects. It has a library consisting of around 73,000 books. College also provides hostel facilities to its students.

  • BMS, BAF, B.Sc IT: Students applying for this course must have done 10+2 from Maharashtra Board or any other recognized board. Or else the student must have done a diploma in the engineering field after scoring at least 45% in SSC or any other equivalent exam. 

Selection Criteria

  • For BA, B.Sc, and B.Com, Students are selected to study at Wilson College purely on the basis of merit i.e percentage they scored in the last examination. The college issues its cut-off list every year.
