Eligibility Criteria

Admission to B.ASLP is open to candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination conducted by the Pre University Board of Education of the respective State Governments, securing a minimum of 50% marks considered as equivalent thereto by the MGR University.
According to the current regulations of the RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India), candidates who have obtained a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) in the PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology group or combinations thereof), in their II PUC or qualifying examination are eligible for admission, out of which Physics and Chemistry are compulsory. The third subject can be Biology/ Mathematics/Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics / Psychology.

For MBBS, applicants must have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany or Zoology) and English. Candidates must also have at least 140/200 marks in these subjects. For BC/MBC/SC/ST/OPH, candidates must have 40% marks.
For the CMC Vellore BPT program, candidates must have passed Class 12 from the CBSE board or equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
For DM and M.Ch, candidates must have an MD/DNB degree in the relevant specialization from a recognized university.
Non-Indian nationals must obtain a "No Objection Certificate" from the Government of India.
Candidates must possess an MBBS Degree from a University recognized by the MCI.
