Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 1 year Full-time Fellowship in Nursing Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate should have Passed the qualification of B.Sc. Nursing/B. Sc. (Honors) in Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree of The Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai or any other University accepted as equivalent there to.
Permanent registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery or alternate course (applicable to male candidates).
Minimum one year of work experience as on 1st September of the said year in any clinical area in the hospital or in the community.
A Certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer.

For MBBS, applicants must have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany or Zoology) and English. Candidates must also have at least 140/200 marks in these subjects. For BC/MBC/SC/ST/OPH, candidates must have 40% marks.
For the CMC Vellore BPT program, candidates must have passed Class 12 from the CBSE board or equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
For DM and M.Ch, candidates must have an MD/DNB degree in the relevant specialization from a recognized university.
Non-Indian nationals must obtain a "No Objection Certificate" from the Government of India.
