Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed the qualification of Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or alternate course / B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Honors) in Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
Candidates should be registered with the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery or alternate course (applicable to male candidates), with NUID number.
Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of clinical experience as a staff nurse preferably in the concerned clinical speciality in the hospital prior to enrollment.
Candidates shall be medically fit
Nurses from other countries must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Indian Nursing Council before admission.

For MBBS, applicants must have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany or Zoology) and English. Candidates must also have at least 140/200 marks in these subjects. For BC/MBC/SC/ST/OPH, candidates must have 40% marks.
For the CMC Vellore BPT program, candidates must have passed Class 12 from the CBSE board or equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
For DM and M.Ch, candidates must have an MD/DNB degree in the relevant specialization from a recognized university.
Non-Indian nationals must obtain a "No Objection Certificate" from the Government of India.
